Only been there a few times and I'm not really a bar person but haven't had a bad experience there yet. Hasn't been too crowded or noisy the times I've been there which is how I like it.

Hadn't been in this place for so many years I don't remember my past experience with it it was a weekend back then and it was quite crowded it's not a real big place but big enough to stop by on a weeknight after work. Very comfortable and had pool table I liked the windows letting in some of the light and the bartender was very friendly and good attitude. They have great specials and deals there I noticed the board had some type of drink every day of the week that was on a good deal price. And if you are there when I was there 5:00 p.m. they do $2 domestic beers which is awesome. Not too loud of music or any thing obnoxious. Nice little old place to stop by waiting for 5:00 traffic to clear lol.

I wanted to stop in here for decades and never have since it's kind of off the beaten path. They've been open for 47 years and my uncle used to come down for a beer or two before I was old enough to drink. Every person that came in was known by name so obviously a very loyal clientele. Love that half the people were able to bring their dogs in with them. They offer a full bar, limited beers on tap plus bottles. You are allowed to bring your own food in or have food delivered here.

Be careful having a drink here there's a creepy homeless man the owner let's hang around. And the owner is aware of the brown van.

Probably the best bar I've ever been to! My friends enjoyed their drinks quite a bit. The patrons were all absolutely lovely; very friendly and talkative, and you could tell it was the local hang out after work for everyone. And of course, the best part was the dogs. I got to pet four dogs while we were there, and all of them were so well-behaved!! We were planning on going back the next day, but some things happened and we didn't make it :( If people actually read this -- Mark, thanks for the offer of a drink, and Jared thanks for all of the food/bar recommendations!! It was wonderful talking with you both <3 And thank you to the owners of Spartacus, Brutus, Freya, and Dizzy; your babies absolutely made my day ;u;

Pretty quiet place. Got there on a Wednesday night and the bar was lonely. There were 5 people there and no bartender. She showed up about 5 minutes later. What was lacking in attendance was made up for with the pour. I really don't know why. More people don't go to this place. Lots of room, pool tables with good felt. Surrounded by huge trees, which put it in the shade all day long. More people should try this place out. It is a great hide out .

Lived all over the US and this is one of my top 3 bars I've ever entered. Attentive and friendly staff, I've been on a first name basis with all the bartenders since a week after first walking in the door. Recently moved to boise and this was the first and only place I was given a warm welcome. Every negative reviewer was probably acting weird and disrespectful loll. Well priced drinks as well
